Cabernet Franc is sourced from high-elevation
vineyards in the Sierra Foothills, where the
growing season is long and allows the grape to
develop rich avors and intense color.
The volcanic soils produce a red wine that is
very true to the varietal's characteristics; spicy
aromas of tobacco, graphite, and black olive.
This unabashedly rich and layered wine has
black cherry and dark chocolate avors, with
delicate tannins and a slight tang of acidity
that keep it beautifully balanced.
